Description:
Can you look into Scooby’s big soulful eyes and not love him? I don’t think so! Scooby may be small in stature (we believe he is a collie/sheltie mix) but this little guy has a heart big enough to put a St. Bernard to shame.
Scooby is an extremely well mannered little guy who is fully housetrained and can be left alone without any fears of destructive behavior. He loves to follow his foster mom around the house and to stare at her until she just has to give him a treat or a hug. Scooby doesn’t care which because affection is food for the soul. He just loves to cuddle.
Scooby also enjoys active, outdoor fun. He will chase a ball or Frisbee for as long as you are willing to throw it. He will politely drop it at your feet, and if you don’t throw it again, he will give you a gentle reminder nudge with his nose. He is a chatty collie, and he does like to join in the fun by barking at the garden hose or at the children playing in the pool. Of course he also feels it his duty to keep the unruly squirrels and chipmunks in line by barking at them too.
Scooby is a very happy, social boy. He gets along well with other dogs (large and small) and is fine with cats. He particularly loves children of any age or size and happily plays with all of the kids at his foster home who range in age from 4 to 16.
Scooby is looking for a forever home where he can join in the family’s activities. His happy-go-lucky nature makes him the perfect fit for almost any household – adults, little kids, older kids, little dogs, big dogs, cats, whatever. Scooby loves them all. And when you look into his big brown eyes, you’ll love him too.
