Description:
Have you ever seen a more beautiful fur coat? It’s a good thing Cruella De Vil never got a look at Laddie or the movie might have been called 101 Collies! He loves to be brushed and after his recent spa day, he couldn’t look more inviting, but his foster mom says his fur coat is staying right where it belongs.
Laddie is a very laidback boy who gets along with everyone except large birds. There are no cats at his foster home, but during a vet visit he was exposed to kitties and paid them no attention. He loves to play with his collie foster brother and when the two are tired out, they even share a doggie bed. He is good with children, but since he is afraid of loud noises, he would prefer a home without kids who are extremely loud and boisterous. Laddie loves his foster mom and dad and will follow them from room to room, just to be near them. He hates being left alone.
Laddie has not had much training, so he does not know any commands, but he is a bright, eager-to-learn boy. He is working on his housetraining and is teaching his foster family how to keep their home tidy by chewing things that have been inappropriately left lying about. He definitely likes to chew, so lots of chew toys and chew bones are a must. He is also working on crate training. Laddie has no recall so a forever home with a fenced yard is a must unless he is always kept on a leash.
Laddie is a happy, healthy, loving collie whose heart is as big as his gorgeous fur coat. His ideal forever home could include respectful children, cats, another dog or just a doting adult. He is easy going and easy to please. All he really needs is lots of love.
