Max is a 3-year-old male tri-colored collie

New to Rescue

Meet Sir Samuel Maximilian, a big name for a big collie!  But we just call him Max.  Max is a regal looking, tri-colored boy.  He has been neutered and just turned three years old.  Max is a very well behaved collie, who is crate trained, house trained and completely non-destructive.  He doesn't jump up on furniture, even though he would be allowed to in his foster home.

Max is a smart, friendly boy who knows lots of commands and is a joy to work with (according to his foster dad).  He likes to go for walks and is pretty good on  his leash, though he does pull a little if he gets excited.  He loves meeting new people and is friendly with everyone.  He gets along well with cats, children and other dogs, but because of his size and enthusiasm, he can get a little rough when he plays.  Max isn't fond of riding in cars and does get car sick if he has been fed before a ride.  He will get in the car, but is anxious and clearly doesn't enjoy the experience.

Max is looking for a forever home where he will get lots of attention and affection.  He loves to learn and is anxious to please, but he also enjoys just curling up and snuggling with his people.  This big boy is ready to settle in with his loving, forever family.
