Lucky is a two year old smooth blue merle smooth collie, very handsome with his one blue eye and one brown eye. He is a happy, friendly boy who loves to be around people. He knows his basic commands, and walks well on his leash.  Being an energetic guy, Lucky would be best with children 6-8 years of age or older.  Cats are just fine with Lucky. He is curious about them, and gets up to see what is going on if they run by him, but stops short and doesn't get too close to them.  The couch and bed look very appealing to Lucky, but he is content to curl up and lay down on the floor in the company of his people. Counter surfing might be a past-time Lucky would like to indulge in if not monitored, even though he is a good boy and doesn't beg for food. (That twinkle in his eye as he looked at the counter is what gave him away!)

Lucky's dream of a forever home would be one where someone could give him lots of love and play time (he enjoys chasing and retrieving a tennis ball).  Although he wouldn't need a doggie or kitty companion, he would be fine with both.  For that special someone or family, he will prove to be a loyal and loving companion.
