Bio for Laddie

Laddie is a handsome, neutered, 8-9 year old, collie boy. He is rough coated and mostly white with a sable head. He came to MWCR when his previous owner could no longer care for him due to a disability. He is extremely mellow and, according to his previous owner, is good with both cats and older children. He is fully housebroken and rides pretty well in the car despite a little nervousness.

Laddie is the ideal dog for someone who wants an affectionate, gentle friend to "hang out" with. (No marathon runners need apply!) He is very laid back and loves any kind of attention: petting, brushing, scratching, whatever! He is working through a little separation anxiety, but is never destructive. He is also very frightened of stairs and will need a home without any long, scary staircases.

Laddie is a perfect sweetheart and is ready for a forever family this is as mellow and laid back as he is. A fenced yard would be nice or perhaps just regular, leisurely walks would do. He would be completely happy as an only dog (you get ALL the attention that way) or would get along well with another mellow dog.
