Schiller and his new Family!

My name is Schiller and I just celebrated my very 1st Birthday on April 5, 2002.  I am a Sable and White Collie neutered male that is fully Vetted.  I am house trained and leash trained.

I was surrendered not through any fault of my own.  My owner realized that he couldn't give me the time and attention that I need due to his advanced years.  I love playing with other Collies, cats, and children!  I am a really nice boy who doesn't chew on anything except what my foster mommy gives me.

I especially like playing with my buddy Casey (below) and using him as a big fluffy pillow!

Schiller continues to thrive in his foster home.  He is very affectionate and loves attention.  Schiller is a very intelligent Collie, but he thinks he's a lap dog.  He is NOT a nuisance barker, and he is NOT food aggressive.  He walks very well on a lead and is not afraid of passing cars, trucks, or busses.  He is gaining some much needed weight and should trim out to be 65-70 lbs. as an adult.

I finally got you some pictures (see above). Schiller and Dolly are getting along great. Dolly will hide under a chair and bark a little dog bark, and Schiller will be on the other side and do a big dog bark and it’s fun for a little while. Then they need to be told quite! Schiller will let the puppy share his food and toys. It’s a game where the puppy tries to steal from Schiller, if he doesn't get it Schiller will drop it by him. They also like to chase each other around the house. Hope to talk to you soon. How is your new dog doing?

Hi, Hope you are staying cool. It was very nice here today. Sorry we haven't sent pictures yet. The ones Brady took with the digital camera, Schiller had red eyes in. Then me and the girls left the next day for my moms and dads house. Schiller did really well there, it was a 3 hour drive good thing he likes car rides. Brady and the girls are leaving again tomorrow morning for
New York They will be there until Monday. So I promise early next week we will take pictures outside so they will turn out better. Anyway he is doing very well, one cat lets him walk by her but if he shows to much interest then she will hiss. He's been going on many walks. He plays well outside with the girls and me. He likes to play catch with the frisbee. He does think he can sit on the furniture he looks so cute its hard to tell him to get down. One chair is what they call a chair and a half, extra big he fits perfect in. He is eating very well, I feed him half in the morning and the rest at night he seems to like that ok. Talk to you soon,
